We have established ourselves as an innovative, state of the art private practice for infants through early teens.

Our therapists have dedicated their careers specializing in pediatrics. Our experience includes neonatal intensive care units, Early Intervention, acute care, BOCES/school system, and rehabilitation. We have advanced training in NDT, sensory integration, Infant massage, Myofascial Release, FES, Partial Weight Bearing Treadmill Training, Intensive Therapy, TheraTogs, Handwriting without Tears, The Listening Program, Astronaut Training, reflex integration, Galileo, and more.

Our 2,000 square foot facility is equipped with state of the art specialty equipment including therapeutic toys, therapy balls, mats, suspended equipment, treadmill, and anything else that will encourage the child to perform the exercises/activities. The children feel at ease when entering our gym and look forward to all of the fun activities planned for them. We are also very parent-friendly. Having the parent observe the sessions allows us to speak to them regarding their child’s abilities and limitations, and provide them with activities they can do at home.

PPOT’s mission is to provide physical and occupational therapy to children and their families with a holistic approach, utilizing all the current research, cutting-edge technology and treatment approaches. Our goal is that every child reach their personal best.

Who needs therapy?

Parents seek out therapy for a variety of reasons:

  • Developmental delays- they want to refine their child’s skills to allow them to reach their developmental milestones.
  • Child has a chronic medical condition and requires therapy.
  • Child has injured themselves and needs rehabilitation
  • Child receives PT or OT at preschool/school but parent feels the child needs additional therapy to reach their goals.
