What our staff say about us
Wow….ten years at PPOT! There is truth to the saying “time flies when you are having fun!” PPOT gives me the job satisfaction that we all hope to find in our work. As an employee, I feel appreciated and recognized for my dedication and hard work. As an occupational therapist, the feedback from my client’s keeps me motivated to dedicating myself to making a positive change in a child’s life. I feel truly fortunate to have landed at PPOT where I am surrounded by great individuals, both co-workers and clients. PPOT has become “my home away from home.”
Pediatric Physical and Occupational Therapy of Hudson Valley has a very warm and friendly atmosphere. As a member of the office staff, I feel so lucky to be able to work in a team setting with Linda, Alex, Sarah, and Cindy. Most importantly, I am happy to be in an environment that is not only a pleasure to be in, but the sole purpose is to help children thrive and be the best that they can be.
I love working at PPOT because it allows me to empower and help children grow in order to be successful in life. We are a family and committed to go above and beyond for every child.
Prospective PT Student
When I first started volunteering, I quickly enjoyed it because of how much patient interaction I got to witness! It didn’t even feel like I was volunteering, I just enjoy being there and seeing how much progress the patient made with each session because of what the therapists do for them!
This is my favorite volunteer experience by far! I love to see all the thought and care the therapists and staff give to each child. As a student, I couldn’t have asked for a better learning environment. The therapists are so knowledgeable and their passion is contagious!
